Mary’s Story

The care coordinator saw on Mary’s* records that she had been prescribed an antibiotic and asked whether she was taking it. Mary responded that when she picked up her medications at the pharmacy, the antibiotic was not included. The care coordinator called the pharmacy, who said that the antibiotic had come in after the other medications but was now ready.

Mary was able to pick up the medication and begin receiving relief from her ear and sinus infection. She thanked her care coordinator for helping her realize her prescription was waiting.
