ChartSpan Appoints New Board Observer, Austin Poole of BIP Capital

(Greenville, South Carolina) – October 1, 2019 – ChartSpan, the largest fully-managed provider of chronic care management, has appointed Austin Poole as a Board Observer. Austin is currently a Senior Associate at BIP Capital, where he leads investments in the Healthcare IT and FinTech. BIP Capital is ChartSpan’s lead investor in a recent Series A round of capital.

Prior to his time at BIP Capital, Austin worked in the structured credit market where he focused on creating specialized debt products for middle-market private equity firms. In addition to his role with ChartSpan’s board, Austin currently represents BIP Capital as a director on the board for ThingTech and as an observer of the board for ConnexPay, LLC.

“Austin Poole contributes strong financial acumen and fiscal discipline to our Board of Directors,” said Jon-Michial Carter, CEO of ChartSpan. “We greatly look forward to his contributions as we continue to expand our business.”

“ChartSpan’s tech-first approach to chronic care management is unique and allows it to provide a best in class experience for eligible patients and the practices that care for them,” commented Austin. “I look forward to working with the ChartSpan team to build on their current momentum and continue to lead the market.”
